The morning after reconnecting with Jack (Matthew Ashford) was a shocker for Jennifer (Melissa Reeves). She woke to an empty bed and worried things moved too much too fast.

She was wrong in the very best way. Jack didn’t run, he went to get her favorite breakfast with a bit of a twist. He put her old engagement ring in a muffin and proposed marriage!

Jen was more than happy to accept. Yes, yes, a million times YES! She will soon be Mrs. Deveraux once again.

A Rude Awakening

Over at the Kiriakis mansion, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) was thrilled to wake up in Brady’s arms. He was not as pleased. In fact, he was furious. He was falling back into old habits and it was not good. Unfortunately, he continued to do so when he agreed to accompany her to Stefan’s funeral.

Goodbye, Stefan

Gabi (Camila Banus) steeled herself to lay her husband to rest. She kept close to Stefan’s coffin and his grave and refused to leave him until the very last second. Her grief had her spiraling as she imagined Stefan standing before her. She vowed to avenge his death and even imagined pushing Lani into the grave.

Gabi managed to hold herself together as a small gathering of Stefan’s loved ones (and even his haters) showed up to show their respects.

However, once all was said and done she did as promised and hunted down Lani. It was time to make her pay. Gabi invited herself to Lani’s upcoming nuptials but, only so she can watch the cop dump Eli at the altar!

Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), Ciara, and Rafe all showed up to show Gabi their support but once the funeral was over they had a party to attend. The trio, along with Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny (Freddie Smith), headed over to Rafe’s (Galen Gering) house to celebrate baby David.

Jordan (Chrishell Hartley) was thrilled to share her son’s big day with everyone, especially Ben and Ciara (Victoria Konefal). Of course, it was because she was planning on hurting her brother’s girlfriend.

After several scares someone else would eat the poisoned cupcake (including Ari almost giving it to David, can you even imagine!), Jordan finally got the treat into Ciara’s hands. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
