Days of our Lives Recap: Gabi And Julie Had It Out

The Days of Our Lives recap for Tuesday, September 17, 2019, features a bombshell return, heated rivalries, and a hospital showdown. It was definitely an action-packed day in Salem.

Ben Must Go!

Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) had some choice words for her husband. She confronted Victor (John Aniston) about going after Ben (Robert Scott Wilson). Victor had his reasons. And, he would do it again in a heartbeat.

In fact, Victor made no secret that he’s not done with Ben. He wants the killer out of Ciara’s life and will do what has to be done. Nothing will convince Victor that Ben is safe.

A Massive Twist

As for Ben, he was on pins and needles, and not just about Victor. It was David’s official guardianship court date and once Rafe has the papers he can start seeing his nephew. He worried he wouldn’t be a good enough influence but Ciara (Victoria Konefal) set him straight. He’s a wonderful man. Unfortunately, things did not go his way.

Rafe (Galen Gearing) was also excited. He was on his way to the courthouse when he ran into Hope (Kristian Alfonso). She wished him luck, he apologized about his sister, and they shared a touching moment.

After court, Rafe texted Ben to meet at his house. Ben thought he was finally going to see David but he was in for a shock. Ben walked in the door and came face to face with Jordan (Chrishell Hartley). Talk about a shock! Jordan made it abundantly clear her brother was to steer clear of baby David.

Hot Tempers

Meanwhile, fireworks exploded at the hospital between Lani (Sal Stowers) and Gabi. Lani saw red and demanded that she leave but Gabi (Camila Banus) didn’t budge. She claimed she was there to see Kate. Of course, that was a lie. Gabi snuck into Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) room the second Doug left her alone.

Gabi said she was there to explain her side but Julie was not having it. They ended up getting into a screaming match which brought Hope running into the room. Gabi was kicked out and accosted in the hallway by Lani again. Eli (Lamon Archey) warned Gabi to stay away or else! Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
