The Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, November 3, 2021, features an end to the reanimated dead’s reign of terror, which resulted in one fatality, and several open-ended questions.

With no other option available to her, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) had to get down and dirty, in order to unbury her beloved Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash). Then, after debating whether or not a dead guy like Nick Fallon (Blake Berris) could be responsible for their current predicament, Gabi and Jake worked in concert to send the walking corpse back from whence he came.
And how did that disbursement of tasks fall? Jake irritated Nick while Gabi snuck up from behind and whacked him in the head with a shovel. Problem solved. Now, how to explain all this to the proper authorities?
DAYS Recap: Head Case
And while we’re on the subject of gaping head wounds…Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) is going to need to see Hell’s on-call surgeon because Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) sure did a number on him with a frying pan. We’d probably feel bad for the little guy if he wasn’t one of the literal worst people to ever stalk the Earth.

But at least Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) now has some sane and rational people to back up her claim that a zombie killed her underworld lackey – which is good news because Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) isn’t putting any stock into her crazy rantings.
DOOL Recap: Déjà vu
It’s kind of the same situation that Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker) finds herself in, but at least Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) isn’t quick to call her crazy for ranting and raving about Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry) – he knows that she’s got a lot on her plate.
He’s also stupid in love with her, so that helps. And luckily for Rafe, Nicole is stupid in love with him too. Cue the conference table sex scene. Cue the groans from Jarlena devotees who’d rather see Nicole and Rafe have relations on any other inappropriate piece of furniture.
