Days of our Lives Recap: Gabi Became The Biggest Monster Of All

The Days of Our Lives recap for Tuesday, February 25, 2020, features Gabi taking an ugly stance, Maggie realizing the truth, and another warning comes in about Evan.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

Gabi (Camila Banus) knew she held all the cards and used them wisely. She refused to have her bone marrow removed and save the baby unless Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Eric (Greg Vaughan) saved her as well. Why should they have a life with their daughter if she didn’t get one with hers? Ari deserved a mother too.

Sarah and Eric were beside themselves but their ranting, raging, and begging did no good. Gabi stood her ground and told them exactly how it was. Her freedom for the little girl’s life. She would not settle for less.

Will They or Won’t They?

Meanwhile, Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) each got reality checks. For Lani, it was from her dad about her year of lies and deceit. Sure, she did it for good reason by why not bring him in on the plan? He could have helped.

For Eli, it was a strong talk with his mom and grandma. Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) spent a year despising Lani but not now. What Lani did was brave and kind and its time Eli gets back to the life he should have had. Eli took the words to heart and headed over to JJ’s place to see his girl.

Maggie and the Horrifying Facts

Things went off the rails at the Kiriakis mansion. Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) put the pieces together and realized what went down. While she didn’t remember drinking (did she?) she did remember being behind the wheel, waking up after the crash, and Xander (Paul Telfer) staging a coverup.

Xander and Victor tried to deny it at first but they eventually came clean. Yes, Maggie caused the accident. And yes, they kept her out of the limelight.

What’s Up With Evan?

Over at Rafe’s, Evan (Brock Kelly) had a bad day when Sonny (Freddie Smith) ended their affair. He admitted he found a sense of peace with the Manny but this was all too much, too fast. He had a divorce to finalize and Ari to stand by.

Evan took it well, but mostly because he had other things on his mind. Another letter about his shady past came in. The note had an ominous tone warning Rafe to call in and keep the babysitter away from the baby. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
