The Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, September 15, 2021, features Gabi Hernandez DiMera and Jake DiMera successfully gaslighting Philip Kiriakis, Ben Weston and Ciara Brady Weston getting a crash course in History 101, and Bonnie Lockhart confessing to a murder or two.
Having been caught consorting with the enemy by Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson), Gabi (Camila Banus) and Jake (Brandon Barash) had to think fast. With no other option, they played on their boss’s insecurities where his and Chloe Lane’s (Nadia Bjorlin) relationship is concerned – which did the trick.
Off to Basic Black, Philip skulked; and what should he find, but Chloe and Brady deep in conversation. Accusations were hurled, chests were puffed out, and Chloe had to once again play referee. She’s getting awfully tired of all this foolishness.
Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) made the pilgrimage to Oak Alley Plantation, but after a special, private, history-laden tour, the mystique once held by the structure is forever tarnished – or, at least put into perspective.
Bonnie (Judi Evans) had a few things to make clear to Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth). Firstly, she only killed two of the three people she’s accused of, well, killing. And both Harrison Lord and Calista Lockhart (Cady Huffman) had it coming – the former was a sexual predator, and the latter his money-hungry enabler.
However, Bonnie was sure to throw daughter Mimi under the bus where David Lockhart’s murder was concerned. Somehow, it all made Justin feel much better; he’s now #TeamBonnie.
After letting Chloe know that Philip might just have some cause to be jealous, Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker) headed off to the Brady Pub…where she ran smack into Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). During the subsequent – awkward – conversation, he admitted to having feelings for her, but she couldn’t quite bring herself to do the same. Perhaps she is scared of Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) after all.
