The Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, July 14, 2020, features Nicole and Eric taking their vows, a surprise guest startling everyone, and Kate coming through for Vivian, and Jake giving up.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
It was wedding day for Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker). After a few tears of joy and a tinge of nervousness, they each headed to the pub. Nicole was a blushing bride ready to spend her life with Eric.
They stood at the makeshift altar to take their vows with Abe (James Reynolds) officiating the sweet ceremony. They said their vows, shared heartfelt words, exchanged rings, and had their first kiss as husband and wife. All was going well — until it wasn’t.
The Storm Arrived
The small crowd was clapping when a booming voice offered her condolences. They looked up and saw Sami (Alison Sweeney) standing in the doorway.

The Real Deal
Kate (Lauren Koslow) had the serum. Vivian wanted to make sure it was real so she stabbed Kate with it. What could go wrong? They waited to see how Kate would react. As it turns out, Kate got super memory and it was totally legit. Now, Viv wanted her to make Jake take it. Kate balked but her hands were tied.
Speaking of Jake, he has his hands full. Gwen got drunk at the bar, had it out with Gabi, and showed up at the garage trying to seduce her man. Jake turned her down and said he needed a break from all the madness. He had enough on his plate, including figuring out who he really was. She then headed back to the bar and went home with Chad instead.
Jake Got Stabby
Gabi got to the garage in time to see Gwen leave and seconds before Kate arrived. Kate handed over the serum, said it was probably real, and told Jake to take it. Jake nearly refused. Why would he want to be Stefan after all he learned? However, he relented and jabbed the needle in his arms when Gabi started nagging. Taking the risk was better then hearing her mope around about it. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
