Days of our Lives Recap: Doug Gains The Strength To Confront MarDevil

The Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, November 24, 2021, features Doug Williams’s homecoming, MarDevil putting Susan Banks in a no-win situation, Paulina Price and Chanel Dupree having a reckoning, and Steve Johnson having a lightbulb moment.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

Not content with merely visiting her beloved Doug (Bill Hayes) in Bayview, Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) brings him home – much to Belle Brady (Martha Madison) and Kayla Brady Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) surprise.

Furthermore, Julie declares that she’ll no longer force-feed her hubby those tranquilizers that Dr. Marlena Evans Black (Deirdre Hall) prescribed. No man of hers will be drugged senseless. Poor feller can’t even remember the words to the old standard Always – and Doug always loves a sing song.

DAYS Recap: Horror Show

It may be Thanksgiving Day for most, but it’s sentencing day for Susan (Stacy Haiduk) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn). The verdict? The latter is too troublesome to live – so the former will execute him…or, she can watch a possessed Marlena carve up Elvis Junior – AKA EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel), otherwise known as Susan’s son – like a turkey.

Now, Susan’s the good, simple sort. She doesn’t want to kill John, and she doesn’t want to condemn her son to eternal damnation. So, the way she sees it, she’s got no other option but to kill herself! See, there’s always another option.

DOOL Recap: Mama Drama

Believe it or not – and Chanel (Raven Bowens) certainly couldn’t – Paulina (Jackée Harry) wasn’t actually mad at her youngest for interrupting her wedding, and mouthing off about Lani Price Grant’s (Sal Stowers) parentage.

In point of fact, the only people that Paulina truly blames are herself…and Marlena! Mother and daughter make-up, and get back to a good place; not good enough for Chanel to forgo her trip to Italy with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), but good all the same.

Days of Our Lives: Little Fires Everywhere

They say that the Devil’s work is never done, and MarDevil is one very busy (and evil) bee. First, there’s the long in-coming confrontation with Paulina; then, there’s the race over to the Horton house. And finally, there’s Doug shouting the odds, and accusing poor Mar-Mar of being possessed. Pfff…yeah, right. As if that’s at all possible…oh wait.
