The Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, March 2, 2020, features an explosive start to the month. Justin struck a deal with Hattie to save Kayla, “Evan” pointed a gun at one too many people, and Ben prepared to meet his maker.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
It was execution day for Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and things were not looking good. Marlena (Deidre Hall) and Will (Chandler Massey) were there to show support as Ciara (Victoria Konefal) desperately tried to clear Ben’s name. She gave Warden Floyd a rundown of the new evidence but he wasn’t having it. In fact, the Governor wasn’t either. The execution would go as planned.
Catching A Killer
The bad news is, the injections began. The good news is, Ciara and Will figured everything out and ran to the mansion to haul “Evan” to the prison. He had to admit what he did and he had to pay for his crimes before Ben did. Unfortunately, it was not going to be easy.
Christian (aka Evan) had a gun and he was willing to use it. He pointed it at Sonny (Freddie Smith) and demanded help and money and he threatened to kill Ciara for exposing him. He was a madman on the verge of a killing spree.
Justin Begged For Help
Meanwhile, Justin (Wally Kurth) was desperate to save Kayla (Mary Beth Evans). He begged John (Drake Hogestyn) for help and nearly fell apart when he realized Marlena was away at the prison. Good thing she has a look-a-like, right? The men rushed to the bar to beg Hattie to step in for their friend.
Hattie was more than happy to help but Roman wasn’t so sure. Hattie almost died the last time she was with SteVano and he worried about putting her in harm’s way again. What if she wasn’t so lucky this time?
Hattie The Hero
Nevertheless, Hattie stepped up and not a moment too soon. Kayla tried everything she could to save herself but Rolf (William Utay) and SteVano were onto her. She barely squeaked by being turned into Marlena by the mad scientist. Good thing The Phoenix wanted his real Queen of the Night. A copy just wouldn’t do.
