Allie (Lindsay Arnold) had Charlie (Mike Manning) in the hot seat but he would not budge. He claimed he was an innocent man. Allie did not believe him. She remembered Tripp being in the apartment but she did not remember his face during the attack. It is entirely possible Tripp wasn’t to blame, after all.

Blinded By Love

Meanwhile, Claire (Isabel Durant) went ballistic when John (Drake Hogestyn) showed up and told her everything. She refused to believe her boyfriend was a rapist. Claire ran off to see Charlie and busted in on Allie interrogating him. She shooed Allie away and begged Charlie for the truth.

Charlie played it smooth. He claimed he never even met Ava (Tamara Braun), let alone was her son or involved in the London scandal. So, ma’am, his hands were clean. Sadly, Claire believed him.

Daddy To The Rescue

Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Belle (Martha Madison) were home just in time to get caught up on the drama. Shawn was not surprised to hear there was something shady about Charlie and ran to the station to save his daughter. He busted into the holding room and hauled Claire out. She relented until she heard Ava was found tied up and gagged at Charlie’s apartment.

A Shocking Confession

Over at the hospital, everyone worried about Ava (Tamara Braun). Tripp took a break from his mom’s bedside and let others take over at his father’s prompting. He did stop Rafe (Galen Gering) from questioning her, but he let Nicole (Arianne Zucker) sit with her old friend.

Ava opened up about the kidnapping and told Nicole all she knew, including what happened before her son knocked her out. She vividly remembered Charlie confessing to raping Allie.

Nicole couldn’t wait to update Allie. The young mom was relieved to hear her attacker told someone the truth. She hoped she could finally get justice. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
