Days of our Lives Recap: Chloe Has Had It With Philip and Moves Out

The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, October 15, 2021, features Chloe Lane making a big (literal) move, Marlena Evans Black blowing her husband’s mind, and a kiss between exes.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

When will Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) ever learn? His girlfriend is absolutely within her right to drape herself across any man she so chooses – especially if that man is her ex-husband; it’s Philip’s damage if he has a problem with that; and he definitely shouldn’t go around punching Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), even if Brady has spent an inordinate amount of time trying to break up Philip and Chloe.

No, Chloe is well within her rights to break up with uber jealous Philip; however, she’s magnanimous enough to merely move out of his family home…that will teach him some sort of lesson, we’re sure.

DAYS Recap: The Devil’s In The Details

Satan is working overtime to make Marlena (Deidre Hall) his permeant vessel, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have other irons in the (hell)fire. First, he forces Marlena to continue encouraging Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) to do his husbandly duties, and give his wife a baby.

And then there’s the little matter of making sure that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) brings Possessed: The Marlena Evans Story to a motion picture house near you. Color John Black (Drake Hogestyn) shocked…and irritated; he’d just about convinced Johnny to abandon the project.

DOOL Recap: Public Spectacle

Here’s something we thought we’d never say: thank goodness for EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). Without his rude interruption and macho posturing, there’s every chance that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker) would have locked lips.

And that wouldn’t have been good for either party…especially when one considers the fact that Rafe is currently dating former mob queenpin Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun); the jury’s still out whether Nicole kissing EJ is any better, but that’s the compromise.

Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes. For more about what’s coming up in Salem, check out all the latest that’s been posted on DAYS spoilers, and for an in-depth look at the show’s history, click here.
