The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, January 29, 2021, features Ben chasing a dream, Ciara living a nightmare, and Charlie finally going down.
Over at Charlie’s (Mike Manning) apartment, Tripp (Lucas Adams) took great pride in exposing his brother. He presented Charlie with the DNA results and demanded he turn himself in. Do it for your son, at least. Charlie kicked Tripp out of his house.
Meanwhile, Allie (Lindsay Arnold) told Belle (Martha Madison) to drop the civil suit. Tripp was not her attacker, Charlie was. Belle took her to the police station to tell Shawn. He was happy to have a real first hand account instead of a stolen toothbrush.
She then went to see Tripp to apologize for putting him through hell. She could not be more sorry. Tripp graciously accepted and let her off the hook. But it looks like Charlie wasn’t off the hook. Shawn showed up at his door and placed him under arrest.
Claire (Isabel Durant) tried to whine on Ben’s (Robert Scott Wilson) shoulder but he turned that right around. He cried on hers instead. Ben admitted he was sure Ciara (Victoria Konefal) is alive.
Claire tried to talk him down but Ben was insistent. No, Claire, this is more than grief. Ben thinks they have a psychic connection. Anything is possible. Marlena and John have it. So did Bo and Hope for that matter. Plus, a fortune cookie proved it.
Ben did not know how right he was. While he was crying over Ciara, she was trying to hold it together. Vincent’s (Michael Teh) buddy (and personal pilot) Rhodes made it clear he was not letting her go anytime soon. Vincent was pleased his friend found Ciara on the airstrip that fateful night and more than happy to keep him on the books.
Ciara was convinced her mom and Ben would never stop searching. Rhodes told her she was right but vowed they would never actually find her.
Back in Salem (or are we still in Salem), Rafe (Galen Gering) thanked Nicole (Arianne Zucker) for a fun night. Apparently spending the night with kids at a pizza play place is his idea of a good time. He even offered to take the little ones off her hands once in a while. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
