The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, April 23, 2021, features Chanel looking a gift horse in the mouth, Kristen digging herself a deeper hole, and so much more.
Xander (Paul Telfer) and Chanel (Precious Way) arranged a meeting with Paulina (Jackée Harry), under the misapprehension that Miss Price was ready to play ball and fork over $10 million.
But when Paulina arrived, she made it abundantly clear that the ask was far too high. Xander countered with a series of decreasing offers until Paulina made her position clear. She’d be willing to pay him $100,000 and not a penny more.
Xander was mighty agreeable – $100,000 is better than nothing, but greedy Chanel was none too pleased. How in the world was she supposed to survive on a measly $50,000? What’s THAT you say daughter dear? You and Xander are splitting this check?
Kristasusan (Stacy Haiduk) paid Kate (Lauren Koslow) a visit and insisted that she’d been having some vile visions about the woman’s future. She then suggested that Kate get far, far away from Salem…which Kate was only too happy to do. But much to Kristen’s chagrin, Kate planned to go on her holiday with Jake (Brandon Barash).
And since that defeated the purpose of her plan, Kristasusan got a bit testy – and wound up giving her true identity away. Kate handled the news with her usual cool aplomb, but her insistence on not making life easy for Kristen resulted in her being rendered unconscious.
Gosh, Kristen really likes hitting people over the head with glass objects; paperweights, tumblers, any beautiful thing will do.
First, Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) attempted to flirt his way back into Chloe’s (Nadia Bjorlin) good graces. But when that failed to do the trick, he resorted to lying. And it wasn’t of the harmless white lie variety. Oh, no.
Instead, Lucas pulled out the tried and true, “I have an inoperable brain tumor,” shtick. The news didn’t get Chloe hot and bothered per see, but it did succeed in getting her to think about someone other than Brady (Eric Martsolf), so mission accomplished!
