The Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, May 22, 2020, featured Chabby leaving town (sans the kids), Kayla making things right-ish, Orpheus going off the rails, and Rafe realizing that he may have made a mistake with Zoey.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
It was an emotional day for Chabby. The couple decided it was best to head to Florida together to get her help. Saying farewell to their families was not something they took lightly but it was for the best. There was no time to waste. If Abby wanted the bed at the center they had to leave tonight. Jen (Melissa Reeves) and Jack (Matthew Ashford) bid them a tearful goodbye.
Who Do You Love, Kayla?
Outside the room, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) had some explaining to do about her feelings for Steve. She admitted to Steve being the love of her life (as Adrienne was his) but they are together now and that is what matters. Just as Justin (Wally Kurth) was beginning to relent, Steve showed up.
Who Can We Trust?
Orpheus was also all Rafe (Galen Gering) could talk about. Hope (Kristian Alfonso) showed up to support his search for David and they agreed Zoey could not be trusted. Zoey claimed they were wrong but a call from Evan (Brock Kelly) had her abandoning their efforts to get her little brother out of trouble. He was confessing and she needed to be there to protect him.
The Manhunt For Orpheus Heated Up
Speaking of Orpheus (George DelHoyo), he fed John and left him tied up with David toddling about to call in more demands. John ran with that opportunity and tried to get David to free him but the kiddo was too slow. The mad man came across the scene, lost it, and knocked out John!
Meanwhile, Marlena (Deidre Hall) stood by her phone waiting to hear from the evildoer. She was at the nurse’s hub when that call came in. He demanded she meet him ALONE in the park. Of course, she did not go alone. She went with Steve with Justin trying to trail behind. He wanted to be there to take down the maniac who killed his wife.
