The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, August 27, 2021, features Bonnie Lockhart’s past coming back to bite her in the behind, EJ DiMera continuing to jockey for the title of Worst Father in the World, and Allie Horton getting quite the shock.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Bonnie (Judi Evans) found out the hard way that when it rains, it really does pour. Not only is her much-despised ex-sister-in-law, Calista (Cady Huffman) in Salem, but she’s attempting to blackmail her into handing over $1 million.
Now, Bonnie doesn’t have that kind of cash just lying around – and she really, really doesn’t want to ask Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) to supply it. But, if Calista doesn’t get paid, she’s going to hand over evidence implicating Bonnie in yet another murder…this time, that of Calista’s own husband, Harrison.
DAYS Recap: Financial Times
As far as Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) are concerned, flattery will get you everywhere and anything your heart desires – hence their agreement to finance Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) passion project…well, that and the fact that Anna needed an excuse to go dress shopping in Milan; you can’t show up to the Oscars in any old thing.
But just when it seemed that Johnny got his way, in swooped EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) to ruin everything….and yet, he was somehow surprised that Johnny didn’t thank him, nor did he wish to join the family company. Funny that.
DOOL Recap: Dinner Date
After crossing paths with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), and getting the dish on her new beau, “Giovanni,” Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) hit upon what he was sure was a swell idea: let’s double date!
Allie (Lindsay Arnold) wasn’t the least bit enamored with the plan…and she grew even less so once she realized that the man on Chanel’s arm was none other than her twin brother!
