For one brief shining moment, Calista Lockhart (Cady Huffman) had it all – and now she’s deader than a doornail; turns out, she shouldn’t have been so greedy to think that she could get the money AND blast Bonnie (Judi Evans) to kingdom come.
And since the show must go on, Bonnie wrapped her sister-in-law up inside a comforter, made apologies for the woman’s supposed drunkenness – gosh, Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will believe any old thing – and got herself all dolled up for the wedding of her dreams. #NothingsGonnaStopHerNow
DAYS Recap: Dazed and Confused
Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) has got a theory for why hubby Doug imprisoned her inside a walk-in freezer: his 96-year-old self was protecting her from a gang of thieves. Jack (Matthew Ashford) was dubious.

Opposite all this clutching for straws, Doug (Bill Hayes) indulged in a burger and fries at the Brady Pub – but his conversation with Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) was lacking; details about the past eluded Doug, including exactly who he was talking to – be the man Roman or John Black (Drake Hogestyn), admittedly a loaded question; and who exactly is John married to again? Was it his play auntie Vivian Alamain?
Roman summoned Julie and Jack, packed Doug a to-go box, and confided his worry to Jack. Later, when Jack attempted to broach the subject with Julie, she insisted that all her husband needed was some rest and relaxation…then he’d be good as new.
DOOL Recap: Filling In The Blanks
Like a bolt of lightning, it suddenly occurred to Xander (Paul Telfer) that it had to be Bonnie who robbed him of all his lovely cash – so off to the Kiriakis mansion he set, though not before begging his kinda, sorta girlfriend, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) not to be too honest with her pops. He got there and interrupted the ceremony, looking for his million — right after Bonnie had imagined that a bloody Calista also interrupted. What a nightmare!
