The love of Marlena’s life was Roman Brady on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) — but what happens when you find yourself with TWO Romans? In the early 90s, poor Marlena was faced with an impossible choice.
Roman (Wayne Northrop) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) were as popular as supercouples get — but Northrop decided to leave the show. Roman was “killed off” by Stefano, and the role was later recast with Drake Hogestyn as Roman. Except then Northrop decided to return, DAYS was left with a bit of a quandary.
And by quandary, we mean one of the most awesome stories of all time! After they figured out that Northrop’s version was the real deal, it left incredible story for a recently returned Marlena and especially John, who was actually in a relationship with Isabella (Staci Greason). It was a messy quadrangle which creates great drama!
