Days of our Lives Recap: Ben’s Alive But He May Never Be Found

Days of our Lives recap for Friday, July 24, 2020, featured Ciara going off the rails, Claire becoming a target, a glimpse of Ben, and Sami getting her way.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

Ciara (Victoria Konefal) kept a death grip on Ben’s (Robert Scott Wilson) shoe as she wandered the streets searching for her husband. She called his phone, she checked the Square and the park and cried a sea of tears. Then she found out the truth. The blast wasn’t an accident — someone planted a bomb.

The Usual Suspect

Ciara just knew it was Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) and stormed the apartment for the ultimate showdown. She ranted and raged, accusing Claire of trying to destroy the wedding from the beginning. She even demanded Hope call Rafe to have Claire arrested.

Claire pleaded her innocence and tried to reason with the belligerent bride. Ciara promised to make her niece pay before Hope hauled her out of the room. Claire was reeling. She asked if her parents believed her but didn’t truly believe anyone did.

Everyone Doubted Claire

Claire was right. Seeds of doubt were planted, especially for Belle (Martha Madison). Claire was not with her the whole night, but was she out long enough to build and plant a bomb? There was motive, but was there really opportunity?

As for Ciara, she went back to her hotel room to be alone. What was supposed to be her wedding night was spent crying alone in the bed surrounded by decorations put up by her husband.

A Shocking Kidnapping

An interesting moment happened somewhere in Salem as Ciara pined for her man. Ben was shown onscreen. He was unconscious, bleeding, and getting locked in the trunk of a car.

Sami Got to Rafe

Meanwhile, Allie (Lindsay Arnold) was bombarded by Sami (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas (Bryan Dattilo). Sami didn’t last long in the hospital room, though. Allie dismissed her moments after she came. Her mom was overbearing and Allie couldn’t take it.

Sami then ran into Rafe (Galen Gering) in the halls and got an earful. Sami demanded he turn down Allie’s adoption offer. Rafe was reluctant at first but must have realized having the baby meant always being connected to Sami because he did just what he was told. He told Allie he wasn’t ready to adopt her baby.
