The Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, September 2, 2020, features Ciara’s fate coming to light, Ben remembering more details from the dorm, and Jan Spears rattling more than one cage.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

Ciara (Victoria Konefal) was alive but not safe. She was held in a warehouse under Vincent’s (Michael Teh) close watch. Thankfully, she wasn’t hurt. In fact, she was in a deep sleep living her best life with Ben. That dream turned into a nightmare when she opened her eyes.

Locked Memories

As for Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), he was in the hot seat at the station. Shawn (Brandon Beemer) aggressively tried to force Ben to remember. That didn’t work. Hope begged him to unlock his memory. That did not work either. Even Claire (Isabela Durant) stepping in did not help.

It wasn’t until Marlena (Deidre Hall) got involved that Ben realized the truth. Under hypnosis, he remembered Vincent coming in the bathroom. Ben told Marlena all the gory details.

Jan’s Testimony Rocked Nicole

Over at the courthouse, Jan (Heather Lindell) put on quite a show. She admitted to trying to kill Victor (John Aniston). She also told the judge it was Nicole (Arianne Zucker) who asked her to do it. To top that off, Sami provided Jan’s diary from all those years ago.

The only saving grace was Jan being scattered and all over the place while on the stand. She couldn’t focus very well and kept going off on rants that had nothing to do with the case. However, the truth was out and it was quite the blow.

Justin (Wally Kurth) asked the judge to ignore the testimony and the journal. Who could trust a crazy person, anyway? Well, as it turns out, Jan is now sane. Or, at least that’s what a letter from her psychiatrist claims.

Belle Faced Her Worst Nightmare

Jan sauntered out of the courthouse and right over to the hospital where she ran into Belle (Martha Madison) and Shawn. Her appearance gave them quite a start — especially since Belle had just finished talking about her bully from high school. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
