The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, September 2, 2020, feels like a regular Vampire Diaries, as Nate and Amanda discuss blood types. Plus, Chance has a day full of surprises, one of Victor’s allies doubts Victoria’s abilities.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Billy (Jason Thompson) and Amanda (Mishael Morgan) tromp down to Nate’s (Sean Dominic) clinic to give blood. (Wouldn’t setting up a station at work and giving their employees time off to donate do more good?) Nate makes a stunning discovery! Amanda and Hilary have the same blood type! And they look alike! They must be related!
Who cares, Amanda asks. And she has a point. Even if they are long lost twins, what difference would it make that it doesn’t already make now? But she agrees to take a DNA test.
Take a Number
Paul (Doug Davidson) offers Chance (Danny Boaz) a job as a detective for the Genoa City Police Department. Chance wants to take it. He misses the action. Abby (Melissa Ordway) doesn’t want him to take it. She doesn’t miss worrying about him. She’s also worried someone may find out what he and Adam (Mark Grossman) did in Las Vegas.

Daddy’s Girl
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) have a Zoom call (welcome to social distancing, ladies!) with a Newman board member who is not enamored of Victoria’s recent business decisions. Victoria tells him she doesn’t care, and he’d better get with the program.
Seeing that Victoria is stressed, Nikki suggests Phyllis’s spa. Victoria opts for a drink, instead. There, Theo proceeds to chat her up. They might have some business to discuss…The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
