The Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, March 10, 2021, features Ben getting his sleuth on, Roman and Gabi getting on the same page, and Paulina getting the wrong end of the stick.
Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) blew into the SPD and filled Shawn (Brandon Beemer) in on the illegally acquired cellphone in his possession, as well Evan’s (Brock Kelly) status as Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal) jailer.
Thanks to Ben’s hotheaded attempt to confront Evan via the cell, Shawn was able to deduce that the villain was somewhere in the vicinity of the docks…which just so happens to be the area where Ben’s currently residing.
And which just so happened to be the place that an anxious Claire (Isabel Durant) was headed. She crossed paths with a murder-minded Evan, and narrowly avoided escalating the situation…but, in the end, she just couldn’t help herself.
So, with his cover well and truly blown, Evan decided to get to know Ben’s visitor. When he learned her last name was Brady, he wondered if she was any relation to Ciara “That Interfering Bitch” Brady. Yep, Claire replied. She’s my auntie. And as for Claire’s query – what is Evan planning to do with Ben – Evan admitted that he that was there to commit a homicide. But he could always make it two victims instead of one!
Roman (Josh Taylor) caught Gabi (Camila Banus) weeping outside the pub and offered up his shoulder. They argued over Kate’s (Lauren Koslow) attributes but decided they both thought she and Jake (Brandon Barash) would be better off apart.
The Grant/Carver family, including recent returnee Theo (Cameron Johnson), came together at Julie’s Place for a very special meeting – one in which the twins’ respective godparents were chosen.
Carver won Abe (James Reynolds) and Valerie (Vanessa A. Williams), while his sister got Theo and…well, it was meant to be Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes).
But Mrs. Williams not only learned a valuable lesson – never, touch a black woman’s hair – but she also got quite the shock when Paulina (Jackée Harry) jumped the gun and deemed herself Jules’s Godmother…and wound up stiffing her in-law on the celebratory champagne bill!
