Days of our Lives Recap: Belle Was Arrested For Jan’s Crime

John (Drake Hogestyn) was beside himself as his visions of Charlie’s death became more and more clear. he remembered being in the doorway watching it happen. He even saw who shot Charlie (or who he thought shot Charlie). It was Belle!

All Signs Point To Belle

At the same time, Trask (Tina Huang) got wind that the red button belonged to Belle’s (Martha Madison) red jacket and demanded her arrest. Belle proclaimed her innocence and begged Trask and Rafe (Galen Gering) to believe her. Rafe did but he was under the D.A.’s orders and forced to cuff her.

Paging Dr. Johnson

Meanwhile, Tripp (Lucas Adams) is starting a whole new life in the morning. He is finally donning his white jacket and starting his rounds at the hospital. To commemorate, he has decided to not be Dr. Dalton, but Dr. Johnson instead. He announced the big news to Kayla and Steve at the apartment while chowing down on goodies from the pub. Steve was pleased as punch.

Speaking of Tripp, Allie (Lindsay Arnold) opened up about her budding feelings for him. Claire (Isabel Durant) was happy to hear about the crush and assured her cousin she was in the clear to go for it.

The Real Truth

Claire had bigger things on her mind. She was desperately trying to get ahold of her mom after a strange showdown with Jan (Heather Lindell). Sadly, by the time she heard anything, it was as her mother was being cuffed and charged with murder.

As for Jan, she snuck into Marlena’s office and broke into the doc’s desk. She took out the recording of John’s hypnosis and listened intently to his version of events as she replayed her own.
