The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, October 22, 2020, features Ben weighing his options, Belle facing her worst fear, and Rolf going on the run a second time.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Belle (Martha Madison) made her way over to the townhouse to pay her parents a visit. All was well there – or at least John (Drake Hogestyn) thought. He assumed Marlena (Deidre Hall) went to see Ben and was not even considering the possibility she was kidnapped.
Belle and John talked about Jan (Heather Lindell). The baddie was up to no good and they both knew it. Apparently, they said her name one too many times because when Belle went home Jan was there lurking in the hallway with a flashlight under her chin.
Catch And Release
Rolf (William Utay) was caught between a rock and a hard place (well, a chair and a rope, really) when Chad (Billy Flynn) overpowered him. Luck was on his side, though. Chad left Gwen (Emily O’Brien) in charge for less than five minutes. It was just long enough for Rolf to plot his escape.
Rolf reminded Gwen he could ruin her chances for revenge. What would Chad think if he knew they were friends? What would happen if he saw the videos of the prison visiting room? Rolf threatened to talk if Gwen did not cut him loose and let him go.
Gwen had no choice. She helped Rolf, feigned an injury, and waited for Chad to come back. By that time, Lani (Sal Stowers) was at the mansion too. They were both mad about the great escape.
Ben Confessed To Clyde
Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) managed to get rid of Eli (Lamon Archey) without incident. Mostly because Eli did not search the hotel room. Why would he? Any detective would have walked away too, right?
Clyde (James Read) breathed a sigh of relief. He knew the peace would not last long. It was time to go back on the run but he wanted Ben to go with him. Nope, not today, Dad. Ben had big plans of his own. Ben pulled out the gun, showed his dad, and vowed to stay in Salem at least until he got revenge. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
