The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, January 7, 2021, features Rafe saving Ava, Ben saving Claire, and the wrong person getting their hands on Eli and Lani’s twins.
Rafe (Galen Gering) was shocked to find Ava (Tamara Braun) tied to a chair and on the floor. He was even more bewildered by her reaction. She had a fit thinking he was Charlie and trying to kill her. Rafe cut her restraints and rushed her to the hospital.
Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) took charge when Ava was admitted. Ava screamed and cried about Tripp being dead and Patch burying their son. Kayla quickly realized what was happening and tried to assure Ava all was well with Tripp, but she did not believe her.
Meanwhile, Roman (Josh Taylor) questioned Abe (James Reynolds) about the police not charging Tripp (Lucas Adams). How can they let the attacker walk free? Even worse, why are so many people entertaining another suspect? Abe was stunned. He had no idea about Steve and John’s theory.
Meanwhile, Marlena (Deidre Hall) and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) searched the house for Claire (Isabel Durant). Ben found her in the bedroom with Charlie (Mike Manning) and broke up their little love party. He sent Claire to speak with the Doc as he escorted Charlie out the back door.
Claire was confused by the interruption. She demanded answers from her grandma but Marlena could not bring herself to break the news. Instead, she told Claire to get dressed, come back to the townhouse, and wait for John. Claire obliged.
As for Charlie, he went home to find the apartment empty. He threw a tantrum about his mom being gone and worried about her spilling. He headed out to find her only to be blocked by Rafe. The commissioner was there for answers.
Valerie (Vanessa Williams) showed up to see her grandbabies and was delighted to hear they had names. She was overjoyed to hear they named the boy Carver, however, she was not so happy to hear the little girl was Julia and not Valerie. Thankfully, Grandma put her feelings aside and slapped a smile on her face.
After Val left, Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) prepared to go home. Unfortunately, they would not be leaving the hospital with their babies. A pair of mysterious hands stole the twins from the nursery. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
