The Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, May 4, 2020, features Sarah making a bad move, Kristen shocking Lani, Abby going ballistic, and Gabi going off the rails. It was a dramatic day for your favorite Salem ladies.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

Over in Paris, Rex (Kyle Lowder) almost had Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) convinced to go home until she found out Brady (Eric Martsolf) was in jail. There was no way she was handing the baby over to the likes of Kristen DiMera. She knocked Rex out and went back on the run.

To make things worse, the truth was coming out back in Salem. Victor (John Aniston) was awake and spilling all. He made it clear Kristen was the culprit and demanded she go straight to jail.

I Did It, Help Me

Meanwhile, Lani (Sal Stowers) confronted Kristen and it worked. She admitted to stabbing Victor but begged Lani for help instead of handcuffs. There were tears, there was begging, and then Lani made a bad call. She helped Kristen go on the run to Europe.

What’s Going On With Abby

Abigail (Kate Mansi) thought she was in the clear but by the end of the day, she would be back to square one. The drugs were out of her system (or so they said) but before too long she had another hallucination. This time, it was during one of Chad’s (Billy Flynn) temper tantrums. The stress became too much and she envisioned Stefan attacking her husband.

Abby lost it, Chad lost it, and things spiraled out of control. Kayla rushed in, which made Abby freak out even worse. She thought Kayla was there to hurt her.

Drop The Act!

Gabi (Camila Banus) had another run-in with Jake (Brandon Barash) and was convinced he was Stefan. The more he protested, the stronger she became in her resolve. He WAS Stefan and nothing could convince her otherwise.

Was she right? Jake swore he was Jake but when he got back to the garage he had a moment that could make any naysayer take pause. He looked back on his run-in and seemed upset about Gabi’s reaction. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
