The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, October 1, 2021, features a night out on the town for two pairs of wild and crazy young lovers, the Devil making a deal, and Abigail Deveraux DiMera proving her prowess as an actress.

Nothing beats a post-honeymoon cheeseburger, except maybe eating that cheeseburger over drinks with your favorite same-age couple – especially if one-half of said couple is your ex-boyfriend. Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) really has a flair for the semi-dramatic, huh?
As if the evening wasn’t already awkward enough, Ciara took the first available opportunity to complain to Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) didn’t want to have a baby with her.
Ever the realist (HA!), Allie encouraged Ciara to listen to her hubby – not because she thinks Ben might pass on his so-called killer gene to his offspring, but because being a parent is like, super-duper hard.
If anything, Allie advised that Ciara and Ben should wait as long as possible, and then adopt; surely there’s a Salemite out there who wouldn’t mind their kid being raised by a reformed serial killer and a pouty princess.

DAYS Recap: The Devil Made Her Do It
The Devil, at first a voice emanating from a possessed recorder, offered Dr. Marlena Evans Black a choice: submit to his will, or watch him send her good friend, Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) to the Great Hereafter.
Marlena, of course, chose the former option; but since Lucifer is quite the stinker, he kept his promise not to harm Doug…and instead introduced Julie Williams’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) skull to a hospital tray!
DOOL Recap: Getting the Job Done
While Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) set about wooing a very impressed Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), Abigail (Marci Miller) channeled her inner diva, in the hopes of proving to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) that she had exactly what it takes to play Devil Granny Marlena in Johnny’s upcoming picture.
