Ciara Brady Weston was sure her honeymoon with Ben Weston was the perfect time to try for a baby. They were finally together, she ran out of birth control, and DAYS spoilers hint she is ready to be a mom. Unfortunately, Ben is not about that life, at least not yet. Ciara’s disappointment was evident and we don’t think she is going to take Ben’s resounding “no” for an answer.
DAYS Spoilers Wild Speculation
All Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) wants is some time alone with his wife. They lost a full year due to her kidnapping and subsequent memory loss. He wants to make up for lost time and those plans don’t exactly include a baby, especially financially. Where are they going to put a crib? In his tiny little studio apartment at the shop? No, no, no. A child needs more than that.
DOOL: Baby Mama Drama
Well, Ben, you best start saving those nickels and dimes for a bigger pad because we think Ciara (Victoria Konefal) is going to go ahead and get pregnant anyway. We can see it now, she picks up her new birth control pills but flushes them down the drain day after day instead of taking them. She wants her baby Bo whether Ben likes it or not. She’s sure he’ll get used to the idea once the test comes back positive.
It’s quite a game of roulette for the new bride. On one hand, she could be right and Ben will be over the moon by their “surprise” pregnancy. After some light initial shock, he very well could come around and get super excited to bring a life into this world. It was in their pans eventually anyway, right? Sure, he wasn’t quite ready but this is destiny and if the universe thinks he’s ready then, by golly, he’ll get himself ready.

On the other, he could go into a blind panic about fatherhood. He said he needed time and he meant it. We can even see his anxiety going through the roof and messing with his mental health. Ben may talk a big game and act alright but it wasn’t so long ago he had a huge mental break and murdered a slew of people.
Days of our Lives: Playing With Fire
It’s a story straight out of a soapy playbook. While Ciara isn’t trying to trap a man like Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney), Vivian Alamain, or Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), it’s still a shady move. She will force Ben into parenthood before he’s ready and, if he ever finds out it was on purpose (which, we’re sure he will), it could spell disaster for their fairytale ending.
