The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, September 25, 2020, featured Baby Horton getting a name and a new life, Allie haunted by her past, Claire giving Ben a new lease on life, and Gwen switching gears.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

It was a big week for Baby Horton. He was moved to his new home, bonded with his mama, said goodbye to his grandma, and finally got a name. Allie (Lindsay Arnold) named her son Henry Lucas Horton.

A Fresh Start

Sami (Alison Sweeney) relinquished the baby but she did not give up custody. She made it clear she still has a legal hold on the child and even warned Nicole (Adrienne Zucker) to not get too close. Sami then hugged her daughter goodbye.

Nicole and Allie bonded over the baby and took a few minutes to get everyone settled in. Whoops, someone forgot diaper cream. Allie ran to the store to get some. Little did she know, this little outing would trip her up.

Kayla Forgave Everything

Meanwhile, Tripp (Lucas Adams) asked for Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) support. He wanted to finish his schooling in Salem but understood if she was not comfortable having him around. Kayla made it clear all was forgiven.

Tripp then shocked Kayla by confessing he set up Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) for the fire that almost killed Ciara. Kayla forgave that too and hoped he learned his lesson.

Tripp then went for a walk around town. He was passing through the park when he literally bumped right into Allie. The look on her face said everything.

A Ray Of Hope

Over at the hotel, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) received startling news. Claire (Isabel Durant) gave him the rundown of the lab findings. There is no evidence Ciara died in the fire. In fact, Hope (Kristen Alfonso) was on the hunt right now. Ben wasted no time getting in on the search too. They had to find Ciara and bring Vincent (Michael Teh) to justice.

Gwen Began Plan B

Meanwhile, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) had it out with Rolf (William Utay). He promised her the drugs she slipped to Abigail (Marci Miller) would literally melt her brain. Well, guess what, doc, Abby is on the mend and getting better by the day. So, what now?

Rolf refused to give her more drugs but did offer an alternative. He advised her to play it slow. Befriend Abigail and dismantle her life one piece at a time. Gwen liked that plan and got right to work. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
