Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, August 4, 2020 features Ben fighting hard, Eve going ballistic, the lair discovered, and Allie throwing WilSon through a loop.
Eve (Kassie DePaiva) almost had Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) where she wanted him. He had his tie around robot-mannequin Ciara but he just couldn’t kill her. In his head, he was seeing her, feeling her, and hearing her voice. She told him to run, and he did. Okay, he tried. He got to the end of the hallway before Vincent (Michael Teh) beat him into submission.
It was back to the drawing board with more drugs, more shock treatment, and Eve going off the rails. They had to get it right this time — or else.
Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) was not exactly a wealth of intel for the Scooby Squad, but she did her best. She told them of Eve’s rage towards Ben and her disturbing wishes for his death. She also told them she may have a new man. A scientist named Vincent who worked at Daybreak Clinic.
That was the break they needed. Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) ran off to the lab to meet the mystery man. However, when they got there it was just an empty warehouse. Well, almost empty. They went inside and their jaws dropped to the floor.
Sami (Alison Sweeney) got a swift talking to from Sonny (Freddie Smith). How dare she keep them away from the birth? Sami tried to deflect by blaming Nicole. That didn’t work so she then went on the defensive. That didn’t work either. In the end, she ignored the drama and went with Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) to meet their grandbaby.
Allie (Lindsay Arnold) went through a series of emotional events. First, she had a visit with her dad and realized Lucas knew all about her mom’s scheming. Well, thanks, pops.
Allie then decided she truly did want what’s best for baby and called Rafe once again. He showed up at the hospital and she all but begged him to take her son. He is the dad her little boy deserves.
Then, as if that wasn’t enough, her WilSon entered the room, carrying adoption papers, of course. Seeing the envelope had her reeling. No, she was not signing anything, thank you very much. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
