Days of our Lives Recap: Allie Goes Into Labor

The Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, July 29, 2020 features Ben meeting his kidnapper, Sami’s secret coming to light, and Allie’s labor beginning.

Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) put on his best Batman voice and demanded answers. Who is his captor? What do they want? He didn’t like the answers, though. Vincent (Michael Teh) introduced himself as the hired help and laughed at Ben’s tough-guy act. A pair of zip ties were enough to take Ben down.

She’s Ba-ack!

So, who was this mastermind boss? Ben was stunned when Eve (Kassie DePaiva) walked into the room. Oh yes, Eve is back and she finally wants revenge for her daughter’s horrific death.

Back at the station, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) and Rafe (Galen Gering) rushed to figure out the assailant. Claire was free, Clyde wasn’t it, and even Orpheus turned into a dead end. Who would do such a terrible thing? Too bad neither of them thought about the parents of Ben’s victims.

I Want A Puppy

Meanwhile, Ari (Sydney Brower) put her parents in their place when they announced their plans to adopt. Oh, great, a baby… Ari wanted a puppy but sure, a baby sounds just fine — not! All the crying, dirty diapers, and mess were not her idea of a good time. She walked off in a huff.

Instead of giving Ari time with the idea (or parenting her to not throw tantrums), Sonny (Freddie Smith) suggested they get a puppy too. Why not add more responsibility in order to avoid Ari copping an attitude? We’re sure Uncle Vic will love a dog running around the mansion.

The Ugly Truth

This may turn out to be a non-issue anyway. Nicole (Arianne Zucker) got home just in time to stop Allie (Lindsay Arnold) from signing the adoption papers. She told Allie the truth about Sami’s meddling.

As for Sami, she tried to cover her tracks but it was too little too late. Sami ran around town trying to hush up anyone who knew. Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) did much the opposite and told anyone who would listen, namely Kate (Lauren Koslow). They agreed Sami went too far and would pay for this mistake one day.

That day was today. Sami rushed to the apartment after Rafe told her Nicole knew. She was there to shush up Nicole but boy, did she get an earful. Allie was so furious and upset she went into labor! Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
