The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, November 6, 2020, features Abigail stumbling across a sultry secret, Theo coming home, and Jack facing a skeleton in his closet.
Abigail (Marci Miller) could not help but read her father’s letter to Kate (Lauren Koslow). The contents shook her, though. Just over a year ago, while Jennifer was still in a coma, something scandalous went down between the housemates. It was enough to drive Abigail to drink (and drink, and drink).
That was not the only surprise for the Deveraux family. JJ (Casey Moss) nearly had his parents in tears when he appeared. They were excited to see him and happy he could be there to celebrate their special day.
He was not the only one back, though. Theo (Cameron Johnson) was also home. He couldn’t help but jet set back to Salem with his bestie, JJ. Abe (James Reynolds) was pleased as punch.
Meanwhile, Kate managed to convince Jake (Brandon Barash) to be her date to the party. She did not want to go alone and he had nothing better to do, so why not. Kate made it clear they were merely attending as friends.
Speaking of uncomfortable situations, Steve (Stephen Nichols) was not so sure he should be part of the festivities. The DNA test vilified his son and he did not want to get into it with anyone. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) was the wrong person to say that to. The science spoke for itself and it was time Steve came to terms with it.
Once the party began, all that tension began to melt away. Everyone was full of joy and happiness for the couple. Kayla gave a nice speech, JJ praised his parents, and even Gwen had some nice things to say.
However, things took a dark turn when Abigail took the microphone. She laid into her father as she held up the letter and exposed the love note. Jack and Kate were mortified.
John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) missed all the action. They hung back at their apartment to celebrate their own anniversary. They went through a scrapbook of all their wedding and promised each other many more years together. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
