Jennifer’s (Cady McLain) New Year’s Eve plans to mope around are thrown out the window by her daughter. Abigail (Marci Miller) showed up with a dress and a pep talk for her mom. Get dress and win back dad.
The Shocking Truth
Jennifer shared her concerns over the secret hotel room incident. Sure, the desk agent said the man in Kate’s hidden bed was not Jack (Matthew Ashford), but the name did start with a “J.” That has to mean something, right?
It took Abigail less than ten seconds to figure it all out. J did not stand for Jack, it stands for Jake! It all made sense now. It is a well known “secret” that Jake has a lover in the house. Chad thinks it is Abigail but really it is his ex-stepmom!
Gwen Upped Her Game
As for Jake, he was in Gwen’s room demanding his bracelet back. How dare she make that kind of play! How dare he demand his gift back! There was a bit of a scuffle but Jake won out in the end. He left with the bracelet and sought out its true owner.

Downstairs, Chad (Billy Flynn) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) also got into a bit of an argument. He was convinced Abigail was cheating. She assured him his wife was staying true. She even came close to spilling all but decided against it.
Chad retreated to Gwen’s room and asked about her bracelet. She said Jake took it back. It was not meant for her. Chad assumed it was bought for Abigail and Gwen let him, of course.
Abigail Acted Fast
Later, Abigail and Jake came face to face. She outright asked him if he was sleeping with Kate. He was too stunned to speak. He just stood there with his jaw on the floor.
Sarah Won This Round
Meanwhile, Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) flirted with Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin). Big mistake. While he was out of the house, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) stole his secrets. Brady (Eric Martsolf) almost caught her but she covered her tracks and completed her task.
She finished seconds before Philip came in the room. He invited her on a date to the DiMera party but she turned him down. She already had plans. And by plans, she meant cracking open those files with Xander. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
