Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, December 17, 2020, features Gwen gaining an accidental win, Allie telling her story again, and Charlie causing a whole slew of trouble.
Charlie (Mike Manning) panicked when his mom went to answer the door and tell Tripp (Lucas Adams) the truth. He could not let that happen so he bashed her over the head, waited for Tripp to leave, and dragged her to his apartment where he tied her to a chair. That’s where she woke up and she lost it.
In the square, Steve (Stephen Nichols) had a chat with Allie (Lindsay Arnold). He questioned her memories of the London attack. Was she sure it was really Tripp? Allie said she was sure but he was not convinced.
Meanwhile, Tripp gave up knocking and went back to his dad’s. He and Steve made their way back to the apartment and broke in. By the time they got there, Charlie had the living room all cleaned up. The men wondered where Ava could be.
Meanwhile, Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Jake (Brandon Barash) had fun in a room at the Inn. What a good idea! Kate pried herself away just in time to run into Allie in the square. Allie updated her grandma about her talk with Steve and her pending lawsuit against Tripp.
At the same time, Jen (Cady McClain) was moping around at Julie’s house. She worried Kate was in the hotel room with Jack (Matthew Ashford). Who else could she be sleeping with that had a “J” name? Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) tried to talk her down but it did no good.
Also on high alert was Chad (Billy Flynn), all thanks to Gwen (Emily O’Brien). She knew Abigail (Marci Miller) was working late but she made Chad suspect Abigail was with Jake. Chad fell for it hook, line, and sinker.
The duo just happened to walk into a very innocent scene where Abigail was explaining Chad’s suspicions to Jake and they agreed to not be alone together for the sake of her marriage. Chad walked in at the worst possible time and what he heard sounded a lot like a cover-up. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
