Days of our Lives Recap: Eric Proposed To Nicole

The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, November 22, 2019, features an emotional Sarah, an over-zealous Eric, and a brave Ciara. The kidnapping drama took center stage and had several lives turning upside down.

Days of our Lives Recap

Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) practically camped out at the police station as the town hunted for her baby. The police were on it (even a reluctant Princess Commissioner), the DiMera security team was on it (thanks, Eli), and the Kiriakis security team was on it. None of that brought Sarah any solace. She leaned on Eric (Greg Vaughan) for support and as the guilt ate away at her, she almost spilled the secret.

Meanwhile, Xander (Paul Telfer) tried to take down Clyde (James Read) while taking on Nicole (Arianne Zucker). Xander had a hand in the last Salem kidnapping, and she was sure he had something to do with Mickey’s too. Well, Xander set her straight. He fell for Sarah and loves Mickey like his own. HE is her dad in all the ways that matter.

Marry Me

Watching Sarah go through hell put things into perspective for Eric. The second he got home, he dropped to one knee and proposed to Nicole.

Prison Blues

Meanwhile, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) broke down at the jail and opened up to his cellmate. He told Will (Chandler Massey) the whole sordid tale and then swore him to secrecy.

Will wanted to tell all but Ben made it clear it wasn’t safe. Clyde had eyes, ears, and friends everywhere. If he finds out Ben was trying to ruin his plans, there would be hell to pay.

Ciara to the Rescue

Thankfully, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) was also on the case. She tracked down the kidnapper and came up with a clever plan to get near the baby. She told bad guy Ray she was sent to care for the tot by Clyde and made him let her in. it was a genius move but also a big mistake. Ray was a dangerous dude who takes pride in doing dangerous things. She had to get tricky to deal with him. Sadly, he was a trickster too.

Don’t Do It, Stefano

Chad (Billy Flynn) was excited to finally meet his pops but Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso) wasn’t keen on the face-to-face meeting happening. There is no way Chad can set eyes on his dad. She reminded Stefano this move was too dangerous to make.

Abby (Kate Mansi) was also opposed to the meeting. She did everything she could to talk Chad out of it. Stefano is a master manipulator and she was afraid she would lose Chad if he got mixed up in that mess again. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
