The Days of our Lives recap for Monday, March 22, 2021, features Sami leaping before looking, Sarah getting a taste of medicine intended for Kristen, and a new suspect emerging in the Charlie Dale murder case.
Sami (Alison Sweeney) landed herself in quite the pickle when she outright confessed to Charlie’s (Mike Manning) murder before being informed of all the facts.
Yes, Allie (Lindsay Arnold) did steal the weapon used in the shooting from Kate’s (Lauren Koslow) locked box. And yes, she did indeed go to Charlie’s apartment and confront him. But once the slimeball started taunting her, she tucked tail and ran – and wound up leaving the gun in the victim’s possession.
So, Sami’s confessed to a murder that neither she nor her daughter committed. Oopsie Daisy! As if Rafe’s (Galen Gering) job wasn’t difficult enough already.
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) lost the battle for her freedom, and she received a gut full of Dr. Rolf’s (William Utay) yet-to-be-patented brain-frying concoction. Luckily for Sarah, rather than induce terrifying hallucinations like in Abigail (Marci Miller) before her, the drug sent her into a fantasy world where Xander (Paul Telfer) had come to her rescue.
Using the situation to her advantage, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) managed to sweet talk Sarah inside an oversized trunk – which she then wheeled away to the airport. Somebody’s on her way to a tropical paradise…and it ain’t Miss DiMera.
Oh, and by the bye, Rex (Kyle Lowder), “Sarah” doesn’t want a thing to do with you. Sorry not sorry that she gave you a contrary impression.
Sami didn’t get Charlie; Allie didn’t kill Charlie…so who the heck did? Perhaps it was Tripp (Lucas Adams), Ava’s (Tamara Braun) good son. He did, as it turns out, go and confront his devious half-brother on his final night on earth.
Wouldn’t the Salem PD just love to get their hands on that bit of information? Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
