A whole year has passed on Days of our Lives without any old favorites returning to town. Stefano in Steve’s (Stephen Nichols) body doesn’t count. Who would fans like to see instead? Here’s what almost 3,000 told us:

Days of our Lives: Don’t Go, Bo

It wasn’t even close, as 71% of the audience demanded Bo (Peter Reckell) — pront-o! Maybe he’ll finally be the one to figure out that his beloved Fancy Face has been taken over by Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso). That would be totes helpful.

And he could help Ciara (Victoria Konefal) with her jailbird boyfriend, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson). Bo might be sympathetic to Ciara’s love for a bad boy. Or he might not want Ben anywhere near his precious little girl. Either way, fans are ready!

I’m Only a Billie

Another of Bo’s exes, Billie (Lisa Rinna) got 9% of the vote. When we last saw her, we learned she was now a super-secret agent person. Salem can always use one of those. And so could you. She could even come back with Chelsea. Hope has gotten over Bo’s other daughter running over Zack. And Princess Gina likely won’t care.

Ain’t That A Shane

Speaking of super-secret spies, how about Shane (Charles Shaughnessey), 7% of Days of our Lives fans suggest. We need him now that Stefano is back — and Abe (James Reynolds) clearly has no clue where to start looking. He can be the one to break the story of the Phoenix’s return, and maybe help Steve get back into his right mind.

Good as Gold

A smaller 4% voted for Austin (Austin Peck). He and Carrie (Christie Clark) are having problems in their marriage — which means he’s free, single, and ready to mingle.

Kim Whim

Last place went to Kimberly (Patricia Pease) with 2%. Theresa (Jen Lilley) went to nurse her mom through an illness. Get well soon, Kim — and get back to Salem. Meanwhile, 7% didn’t like the choices. Perhaps they wanted Kim’s daughter.  Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
