Chad and Abby have been high-fliers on Days of our Lives. They spent some time in Paris (and on the web), but now they’re back in Salem and plotting to bring down Gabi (Camila Banus).Where do fans prefer their Chabby to reside for good? What over 6,000 told us:
It wasn’t even close as a majority 85% are perfectly content to have Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abby (Kate Mansi) back where they belong, under Stefano’s roof and at Jennifer’s (Melissa Reeves) bedside. You missed them while they were gone. Luckily, a year of that passed by awfully fast.
You couldn’t wait for Chad to return and make Gabi’s life miserable and take back what’s his, and for Abby to make Gabi pay for everything she did to her. Revenge is no fun if it happens off-screen.
Then again, 12% of Days of our Lives fans were equally as content to not have Days of our Abby on your screen non-stop. It wasn’t bad enough when she was just Abby, you also had to put up with Gabby. There was no escape. You don’t begrudge the newlyweds their happiness. You’d just preferred it happen… somewhere else.
It’s a tiny minority — 3% — but this bunch thinks there’s not enough Chad and Abby on DOOL. Any other character on screen is a character taking precious time away from Thomas and Charlotte’s mommy and daddy.
The obvious solution is to give them their own show. On the web was a good start. Wall-to-wall Chad and Abby, with no one to pull focus. DOOL made the right move giving them their own web series, but it cut it short in order to bring Chad and Abby back to Salem. You’d rather have the exclusive. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
