What was up with that time jump 44% of you demand to know. One minute Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) is in a coma and the next she’s not in a coma — and a whole year has passed!

Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), Eve (Kassie DePaiva), and Will (Chandler Massey) are in prison, Lani (Sal Stowers) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) were nuns in waiting, Stefano is living in Steve’s (Stephen Nichols) body, Adrienne (Judi Evans) is dead and Justin (Wally Kurth) is dating Kayla (Mary Beth Evans)! We don’t watch to be told about what happened, we watch soaps to see things happen! Skipping a year is not the way to make that happen!

Stefan: Death Not Be Proud

Why did Stefan (Brandon Barash) have to die, a heartbroken 33% of Days of our Lives fans demand? His romance with Gabi (Camila Banus) was smoking hot, the two of them taking DiMera away from Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abby (Kate Mansi) was poetic justice. You were anticipating years’ worth of story, especially with mom Vivian (Robin Strasser) back in town.

Instead, Viv accidentally got her baby boy shot, Gabi buried the love of her life, and… what? We didn’t even see the aftermath. Dr. Rolf (Will Utay) better get here — soon!

Wedding Day Blues

Lani and Eli (Lamon Archey) were all set to get married. But then Gabi blackmailed Lani to dump Eli at the altar by threatening to blow up Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) heart from her cell phone. She didn’t. And the pair never married. Nothing interesting came from this, according to 23% of the viewers. Mainly because we barely got to see the aftermath.
