Days of our Lives is the soap that made its reputation on supercouples. Couples are still their bread and butter, but it seems that some are more equal than others.
There are the couples that are on every day, and the ones that we might get a glimpse of in the background every other Tuesday on a full moon. Which ones would you like to see more of? A lucky 13,000 share their views:
Steve (Stephen Nichols) is finally back in Salem! So why are we seeing so little of him – and his Sweetness? Steve and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) have been apart for more years than they’ve even been together. They’re together now. So why can’t we see them more, 39% of the audience demands?
Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) are cops. Lani and Eli are married. Lani and Eli are expecting twins. We hear. We think. We certainly don’t see much of them, 26% Days of our Lives fans are fuming. We might catch a glimpse of them at work, or Lani having another panic attack that keeps Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) from jumping into bed with Xander (Paul Telfer). We’d like to see more.
Victor (John Aniston) had time to testify against Nicole (Arianne Zucker) when we haven’t seen him with his wife in weeks, 19% fume. Just because they’re not teeny-boppers doesn’t mean Victor and Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) don’t deserve some romance of their own. Or at least screentime.
Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) only got 16% of the vote. Maybe it’s because you think Abigail needs them more. Or because you figure, Jennifer was in a coma for a year and Salem went on fine without them. They can keep on going. We’ll take the three couples above, instead. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
