Days of our Lives is pretty exciting right now. We’ve got a baby switch, a prison escape, people walking around in someone else’s bodies, and a suspicious – though hot – manny.

But which of these Salem characters do fans find the most exciting? What over 2,000 discerning viewers told us:

Hang Ten, Ben

It’s gotta be Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), 44% of you cheer. The guy has it all: Soulful eyes, killer abs, a woman who would go to hell and back for him, and a past as a serial killer to make it clear he isn’t perfect. He’s got an edge.

Ben is sitting on Death Row for killing Jordan (Chrishell Stause). Well, he was sitting. Clyde (James Read) arranged for him to escape. Now he and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) are on the run. What could be more exciting than that?

Se(X)ander

All relationships hit bumps in the road. In Xander (Paul Telfer) and Sarah’s (Linsey Godfrey) case, it’s that he’s hiding having switched her dead newborn with Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) living one. That’s a big one. But it’s also what makes Xander and his story exciting for 26% of the audience.

Way To Go, SteVano

He’s not the only Salemite walking around with a body that isn’t theirs. Hope (Kristian Alfonso) is possessed by Princess Gina. And Stefano has taken over Steve’s (Stephen Nichols) patch. That’s pretty darn exciting, say 12%.

What’s Up, Doc?

An almost equal 11% still find Marlena (Deidre Hall) exciting. SteVano is obsessed with her, John (Drake Hogysten) is still madly in love with her, Roman (Josh Taylor) is, too, we suspect. Remaining a show’s leading lately for over 40 years… that’s pretty exciting!

Gabby Gabi
Only 7% feel the same about Gabi (Camila Banus). Maybe it’s because she’s choosing to waste her time on dull Eli (Lamon Archey). Not very exciting, ya know… Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
