While life was going on atop the Days of our Lives mainstage — zipping by so quickly that a year passed in the blink of a weekend — there were some other lives going on online.
Days of our Lives Polling
The Last Blast gang, including Shawn (Brandon Beemer), Belle (Martha Madison), Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), and the rest celebrated their high school reunion. And that’s not even counting the home movies we got of Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abby (Kate Mansi) in Paris.
So, would fans like to watch more small(er)-screen adventures? We heard from almost 8,000 devoted fans:
Fine Young Cannibals
Absolutely not, 55% of you declare. You want to watch the lives and loves of Salem — in Salem. You don’t want to be scrounging around to download some app. DOOL belongs on the TV in your living room. Plus, it’s the interaction of characters that makes life in Salem special. When they’re off on their own, it’s not the same.
Apps are great… for other things. TVs are for soaps, let’s leave them there. Not to mention, if people are watching the app, they might not be watching the show. Which will lead to low ratings. Which will lead to the show being cancelled. Which will lead to no more app. No cannibalizing the audience!
DAYS: More Is Always Better
How can anyone say no to more love in the afternoon, a reverse 45% of Days of our Lives fans wonder? You know how you love DAYS? This is more DAYS!
The show is only an hour long. There isn’t enough time to feature everyone. This is a way for fans to see their favorites when they’re not in Salem. That happens in real life, you know.
People move out of town. But their lives go on. We can’t follow our real-life loved ones when they’re not around. But we can with these guys! Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
