After months of work we didn’t see… and weeks that we did, Ciara has finally managed to secure Ben’s freedom on Days of our Lives. The happily reunited couple proceeded to head home. And reunite. Happily.
Days of our Lives Polling
But now that the drama is behind them, are fans finding “Cin” hot… or dull? What we heard from 4,000 regular viewers:
Where There’s Smoke, There’s Fire
Are you kidding, 87% of the audience wonders. There is no couple currently in Salem hotter than Ciara (Victoria Konefal) and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson). They don’t need a death penalty hanging over their heads to generate sparks. They do it anytime they’re in the same room together. Or just thinking about each other.
This is a couple that could own the front burner for years to come – and not need to get out of bed to do it. Long live the era of Cin!
Dullsville, Population: Cin
Give us a break, 13% of Days of our Lives fans groan in response. There is nothing duller than watching Ben be noble and self-sacrificing day after day, while Ciara pines and pulls out useless scheme after useless scheme. Those two had the same literal conversation every day, and now they don’t even have that to talk about anymore.
What does that leave? Even more interminable days of Ben and Ciara discussing their love, how no one understands how noble and self-sacrificing he is now, and aren’t they both totes pretty?
In a town where Marlena (Deidre Hall) was missing, Stefano had turned into Steve (Stephen Nichols), and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) is hooking up with Justin (Wally Kurth), while Hope (Kristian Alfonso) wasn’t herself, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) is going to prison, and there’s a swapped baby floating around, these two teeny-boppers are painful to watch. And very dull. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
