On November 29, 2019, Days of our Lives began streaming a web series focusing on the high school reunion of the 2002 Last Blast Dance gang.
That means Belle (Martha Madison), Shawn (Brandon Beemer), Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson), Jan (Heather Lindell), Jason (Aaron Van Wagner), Susan (Lindsay Hollister), Mimi (Teressa Liane), and Kevin (Chadwick Hopson) are together again! Even if some of them don’t look exactly the way they did then. Will you be watching? Almost 6,000 answered:
Belle and Shawn: Unreality TV
If it’s not on TV, we’re not interested, 60% of you sniff. DOOL is what happens on NBC at a certain hour, not something we have to download an app to track down. Besides, we’re not even sure how this ties into the main story. Did the Last Blast Dance gang skip a year, too?
So it’s their 18th high-school reunion? Do people remember how old Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) was the last time we saw her? She was more than 18! Did Shawn and Belle (and Philip, since he was her presumed father for months) have Claire back in high school? They did not.
Are we going to hear about Mimi and Rex, or are we supposed to pretend that didn’t happen? And will anything we see on the app ever be mentioned onscreen? It’s too confusing. Skip!
More Is Always Better
How can anyone complain about MORE DOOL, 40% of Days of our Lives fans wonder? Not to mention the chance to catch up with our high school faves. Sure, we saw Belle and Shawn, and Mimi and Chloe recently in Salem proper, but it will be nice to see the other guys.
Plus, it should be fun to hear how they describe their lives to their friends… when we know what’s really going on. “No, our daughter isn’t a lunatic,” Shawn and Belle will lie. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
