Olivia Rose Keegan will be returning to Days of our Lives as Claire Brady this summer, and when Claire is around, havoc is expected.
The actress was on the Salem canvas from 2015 until July of 2019 and returned briefly last October for a special Halloween episode in which Ben had a nightmare that Claire killed Haley, Victor, and Maggie during a crazy day. According to Soaps.com, she returns next week.
When last we saw the daughter of Shawn Brady and Belle Black in a non-dream scenario, Claire was on her way to Bayview, the sanitarium where all Salem crazies go to get better.
Claire’s mental state was going way downhill for a while. She had set a cabin on fire and tried to frame Ben for the dastardly deed. She also worked to prove that Tripp’s crush Haley was an illegal immigrant. That situation only intensified when Tripp married her rival to help her get a green card and pushed Claire out of her own home.
Claire held a knife to Tripp’s throat, then kidnapped Ciara and planned a headline-grabbing murder-suicide. Thankfully, Marlena arrived and talked Claire down, keeping herself from burning herself alive. She promised to get better and planned to start over with Ciara when she got out.
With Ciara finding happiness with Ben as of late, Claire might not be able to live up to her word when she returns.
Keegan’s return will coincide with the returns of her onscreen parents Brandon Beemer and Martha Madison as well, so it will be a full family reunion.
Since leaving the show, Keegan was cast as Lily on season two of Disney Plus’ High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, playing an energetic and adorable East High freshman whose sweetness masks her insecurity and highly competitive nature. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
