Confirmed! Leann Hunley’s Bringing Anna Back to Days of Our Lives

Expect another big return in the form of Leann Hunley, as “Days of Our Lives” Executive Producer has confirmed Anna DiMera is on her way back to Salem. For how long and with whom she’ll be interacting remains a mystery for the character who was last seen in 2010.

On the Run
Back then, Anna had to flee Salem and the authorities due to her part in Sydney’s kidnapping. She was hired by E.J. to enact revenge on Stefano. There are still people in town she has ties to, but her daughter Carrie (last played by Christie Clark) left town in 2012.

Most Likely Candidate
The actress has a long history with Thaao Penghlis. Together with his Tony DiMera, they were a DAYS super couple that epitomized romance and glamor. Now that the actor is portraying Tony’s evil lookalike, Andre, it’d be great to see if lightening can strike twice. Of course, there’s also the father of her daughter – Roman Brady (Josh Taylor). Roman has been alone too long and could really use a little spice in his life. She has been on the run and he is a cop – a great first obstacle to get past for any couple.

When Ken Corday confirmed her return to Glamour.com, he not only included Matt Ashford (ex-Jack), Jaime Lyn Bauer (Laura), Patsy Pease (Kimberly) and Charles Shaughnessy (Shane), but teased there are more old favorites to come.
