Jackee Harry will soon be hitting the daytime canvas with her much-anticipated role as Days of Our Lives’ Paulina, a new character who arrives in Salem with some ties to the Carver family.

Not much is known about the role, but Paulina will also have a beautiful young daughter, Chanel, played by musician Precious Way. Online rumors speculate that the timing of these characters coming to town right about the same time of Eli and Lani’s twins being kidnapped is curious, to say the least. Do they have something to do with Vivian (Linda Dano)?
While fans wait to see what their arrival will mean to the story, some DAYS actors have already started filming scenes with the new players and have taken to social media to talk about how wonderful adding them to the cast has been.
“I understand that everyone isn’t going to like everything, BUT bringing Jackee & Precious to #Days was such a great move,” posted Lamon Archey on Twitter, whose Eli is expected to be sharing lots of screen time with both new characters. “Not only racially & culturally needed but they bring so much character and larger than life personalities to the show.”

Paul Telfer (Xander) also weighed in on their arrival, posting his own welcome message on Twitter.
“Overjoyed that they’ve joined the show,” he wrote. “Energy is palpable!!!” And when a fan asked if Xander would be sharing any screen time with Paulina, he not-so-subtly hinted he would.
Harry of course has an amazing acting resume, with her scene-stealing role as the sexy Sandra Clark on 227 and playing mom Lisa on Sister, Sister. She’s made numerous guests spots on TV and also starred on Broadway, last appearing in The Boys from Syracuse.
Daytime fans will remember her run as Lily Mason, Thomasina’s aunt on Another World in the mid-’80s. DAYS fans join her co-stars in looking forward to seeing her on the screen soon. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
