Fostering Joy: Days Of Our Lives Star Jen Lilley Officially Adopts Her Son

Jen Lilley plays a fiercely devoted mother on Days Of Our Lives, and now, life has imitated art. The fan-favorite actress is now a new mom to her adopted son!

Lilley and her husband, Jason Wayne, tweeted an adorable gif announcing that they are now the proud parents of a son they’ve been fostering since he was a newborn.

“It’s official!!!! #adoption #fostercare #thisisus” posted Lilley who peppered her son with kisses and a sign that reads: “I SPENT 984 DAYS IN FOSTER CARE BUT TODAY I AM ADOPTED 6 10 19”.

When Lilley first became a foster mom, she thought she’d have this little boy with her for just three months, according to Parade Magazine, but life had other plans.

She is also fostering the little boy’s half-brother but has not said whether he will officially be adopted. Later this year, Lilley’s set to give birth to a daughter, meaning she’ll have three kids under three, which is a challenge to any parent.
