Days of Our Lives star Galen Gering is not a dad who’s afraid to show his love and affection, and he was quick to praise son Jensen over a notable achievement.
Galen Gering: Passing On His Talent
The actor posted the news on Instagram that his 12-year-old son, an aspiring model and musician, is helping raise money for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America by taking a stab at fashion design.
“While we’ve been figuring out if it’s even safe to go outside, [Jensen has been] designing a clothing line for [Old Navy] and [Pop Sugar] that helps support the [Boys and Girls Clubs of America],” Gering posted. “The goal is to raise $1 million for Boys & Girls Clubs @bgca_clubs to provide job opportunities for underserved youth.”
Gering posted a series of photos showing Jensen in some of his designs, which includes a white hoody with the phrase “radiate good vibes” and a photo of a colorful, smiling sun; a T-shirt with the phrase “well informed” repeated over and over; and a yellow hoodie with an image of Baby Maggie from the Simpsons on the right edge.
“We would LOVE your support,” Gering said. “So please help support the next generation and get some cool threads at the same time!”
Jensen is no stranger to those who regularly follow Gering’s Instagram. Just this week, he posted a video of his son singing and playing guitar.
“When people ask if there’s a silver lining to the pandemic, spending more time with you would certainly be one thing,” the proud dad wrote. “Whether you’re climbing to the top of a waterfall, giving to others, or learning a new song seemingly every day, you continue to amaze me.”
Past Instagram posts have seen the father and son bonding over a walk, hike, and plenty more of Jensen’s music. To purchase any of Jensen’s designs, visit OldNavyGap.com. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
