Even though Lani and Eli have been talking endlessly about their soon-to-be-born twins on Days of our Lives, they’ve been very closed-lip regarding the babies’ gender. We asked fans what they should have:
Days of our Lives Polling: One Of Each
Obviously one of each would be the fair thing, 87% of the audience has decided in advance. A boy and a girl. Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) would get a replacement for the son she lost, and a baby girl to dress up and fuss over and turn into a mini-Julie – especially now that Hope (Kristian Alfonso) has left town. We just hope Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani (Sal Stowers) don’t decide to name their daughter after the “dead” Ciara. Because we all know that death isn’t going to stick.
Double Your Pleasure, Double Your Fun…
Have two little girls instead of just one. Or, at least, that’s what 7% of you would like to see. Lani and Eli were so traumatized by the death of their little boy, another son would simply be a painful reminder. On the other hand, two little girls would be pure joy, especially if they were identical. Sure, we know one of them will inevitably turn out to be evil. That’s just the soap opera way. But they’ll be cute, first.
Two Boys
Yes, Lani and Eli lost David Abraham. That’s why they deserve two sons now, a slightly smaller 6% insists. One to make up for the first, and one who is brand new. Since they already used up both their biological dads’ names on the first baby, maybe they can name one of their twins after the dad who actually raised Eli, while the second boy can get a new name for a new start for his entire family. (Though considering how much Lani is gushing over Kristen these days, Kristoffer is probably not out of the question.) Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
