In-person events haven’t made a full comeback just yet however, that’s not stopping the people at NBC and Days of our Lives from not having the annual Day of DAYS fan gathering. Like last year, the gathering will be virtual and Soap Hub has details for the show’s fans on how they can attend.
“Get ready to celebrate all things Salem on #DayOfDays2021!” NBC announced on the DAYS’ official Instagram page. “Mark your calendars! Join us for #DayOfDays2021 on Friday, November 19 on @nbc’s Facebook and YouTube pages.” The virtual event starts at 3 p.m. PT/6 p.m. ET.
The past Day of DAYS events have taken place in person at Universal Citywalk however, this year, DAYS devotees won’t have to go any further than their computers or mobile devices to see their Salem favorites.
“Here we go!!!” enthuses Eric Martsolf (Brady), who appeared in a promotional post for Day of DAYS with co-star Arianne Zucker (Nicole). “Yes!!!! Can’t wait! Gooooo Days!” says Zucker. DAYS fans Jasmine White responded, “Marked my calendar!! Can’t wait. 2020’s virtual Day of Days was fantastic!”
On Monday, November 8, Days of our Lives celebrates its 56th anniversary. The show was created by Irna Phillips and Ted Corday. A year into the program, Corday passed away and his wife, Mrs. Ted (Betty) Corday, took over as executive producer. William J. Bell (The Young and the Restless) came on as the head writer and within five years, DAYS ranked as the No. 1 soap opera.
Today, Ken Corday, Ted and Betty’s son, continues his family’s tradition as executive producer. Ron Carlivati serves as head writer. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
