Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Recap: Will Moves Out Of The Mansion!

The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for January 9 features a tough day for your Salem faves as hearts broke all over town.

Moving Forward
Will (Chandler Massey) thanked Victor (John Aniston) and Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) for letting him stay at the mansion but told them he and Sonny are getting a divorce. Victor groused that he knew Will would break Sonny’s heart.

An angry Sonny (Freddie Smith) ran into Paul (Christopher Sean) and asked if he felt guilty for ruining his marriage, along with some other horrible things. Paul took the high road, saying he just wanted Sonny to be happy.

Sonny returned home to see Will leave, after nothing he could say could make him stay. Victor warned Sonny about jumping into something he can’t handle again. He asked for time to think. Victor used tough love to knock sense into Sonny, who he thought was running away. Instead, a more focused Sonny said he’s heading to London on business.

A Different Kind of Health Crisis
Steve (Stephen Nichols) met with Paul and when he got up quickly, he seemed to get dizzy. Later on, his vision started to blur, leaving Steve to wonder what’s going on with him.

Down the Rabbit Hole
Lani (Sal Stowers) updated JJ (Casey Moss) on Theo’s (Kyler Pettis) condition and he was upset to hear Theo had to leave town. He was going to cancel his counseling appointment with Eric to be with Lani but she made him keep the appointment.

Uh Oh
Lani didn’t feel well as she waited for Theo to return. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) saw her and wanted to run tests, which later revealed that Lani is pregnant.

Gabi (Camila Banus) told Eli (Lamon Archey) she felt totally betrayed and he sweated bullets but it was about the DiMera CEO change. He talked her down and was relieved. Later, he asked JJ to come meet him at the police department to discuss something.

Greener Pastures
Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) gave Eric (Greg Vaughan) the cold shoulder and later agreed to dinner with the doctor who will be volunteering at the Center after she saw a picture of Nicole on Eric’s desk. Eric overheard her make the date and didn’t seem happy.
